Laurie Benson
Laurie Benson is an award-winning, internationally published author who writes flirty and frisky historical romances for imprints of Harper Collins. She began her writing career as an advertising copywriter, where she learned more than you could ever want to know about hot dogs and credit score reports. Now, she enjoys taking readers with her on romantic adventures.
When she isn't at her laptop avoiding laundry, Laurie can be found browsing antique shops, going on ridiculously long hikes, or sitting at the shoreline with her feet in the sand. She lives just outside of New York City with her husband and two sons in a house filled with testosterone--even her bunny is a boy.
Laurie is represented by Courtney Miller-Callihan of Handspun Literary Agency.

His Three-Day Duchess
One sword-wielding duchess and one treasure hunting duke pretend to be married to catch a thief.
When Elizabeth, the Duchess of Skeffington, retreats to the estate that was her refuge during her cruel marriage, she’s shocked to come face-to-face with her late husband’s distant heir, the insufferable Simon Alexander. When Elizabeth’s fortune is stolen, they’re forced to work with one another to find the thief before Simon has to return to his archeological site in Scilly. But traveling alone together would create a scandal…so that means they must pose as husband and wife.
