About

MM1(SW) Megan Maki is a U.S. Navy veteran, with twenty years of active service. A nuclear field Machinist Mate who served on the USS Long Beach CGN-9, USS Truxtun CGN35, and USS Carl Vinson CVN-70. During twelve years of sea time MM1 Maki circumnavigated once, crossed the Panama Canal three times, and earned multiple campaign awards. After retiring in 2005, Megan worked as a maintenance foreman in private industry and then eleven years as a USN civil servant. As an author she uses her lifetime of experience to create an alternative history series about a time travel event from December, 1990 to December 1941.
