Lynn Sally is an author and scholar studying American popular culture. Her book, Fighting the Flames: The Spectacular Performance of Fire, was published by Routledge. Her current academic monograph on neo-burlesque as a new sexual revolution is under peer review. In addition to academic writing, she also writes creative non fiction, travel writing, and contemporary criticism essays.
