Frances Dupont is writing a historical fiction family saga based on the unusual lives of her fifth great-grandparents in New York’s Mohawk Valley spanning the years before, during and after the War for Independence. She is a writer, plant scientist, teacher, traveler, ballroom dancer and amateur genealogist, and enjoys watching birds and pollinators visit her New Mexico native plant garden.
