Janet Preus is a playwright, writer, critic, editor, and former teacher. She ran the theater program at a community college before becoming a radio news reporter, and later the news editor of a daily newspaper. She has reviewed theater for howwastheshow.com for many years, and has published personal essays, a musical, a series of children’s books, and numerous magazine articles. She divides her time between Minneapolis and her lake cabin “up north.”
