Rachel Varano Perry is an emerging writer and expert on diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and cultural competence. As a native of Connecticut, Rachel grew up across the street from the Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe House in Hartford. Under the shade of trees is where she developed her love for literature and life! After serving in the U.S. Army as a military police woman, and two-decades in civil rights; she relocated to Virginia, where she volunteers for the City, and advocates for the rights of disabled veterans, children, and adult children of parental conflict and divorce.

Ms. Perry, is currently a full-time student at Regent University working toward a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Organizational Coaching . She anticipates publication of her book in November.
