Angel Sands Gunn writes about family, motherhood, identity and the South. Her writing has earned awards from the Faulkner-Wisdom Contest, Glimmer Train Press, the Denny Plattner contest at Berea College and Writers Digest Competition and has been published in STILL, Literary Mama, Full Grown People, Poets Writing the News, Quail Bell Magazine and Appalachian Review.
