Natalie Standiford writes novels for adults, children and teens. Her essays and reviews have been published in The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The New York Times Book Review and the Times' Modern Love column. She was born and raised in Baltimore and now lives in New York City, where she plays bass in the all-YA-author band Tiger Beat.
