Jackie Goldwyn Kingon
I am a graduate of Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and the School of Visual Art in New York City. The New York Times published my feature piece about working in an inner-city school in the south Bronx, NY called “A Year in the Trenches” and a piece called “Beautiful Music,” about a person with autism who is now a professional pianist. Other non-fiction articles appeared in journals for Autism. I now write books that are full of science, full of fiction and full of fun: CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE MOONS, SHERLOCK MARS and P IS FOR PLUTO.
Guardbridge Books in St. Andrews, Scotland has published two of my books: “Sherlock Mars” and “P is for Pluto.”They follow with many of the same characters as my first and self-published book, “Chocolate Chocolate Moons.” Kirkus Review said, “An undeniably fun tale with a protagonist who can apparently handle anything…” And Readers Favorite said, “Jackie Kingon blends history, science, popular culture, and social issues with imagination and a large dose of humor as she leads her well-defined characters through intriguing action throughout the new frontier of space.”
Short stories were published by the Flying Island Press in their anthology, “Pieces of Eight,” The Fringe Magazine and Static Movement Magazine.
