I've built my entire career on writing -- usually for other people as a freelance marketing copywriter. In 2021 I published my first book, a memoir called The Ghost Marriage. And in 2025 I published a historical novel, The Ashtrays Are Full and the Glasses Are Empty, which tells the story of Sara Murphy, a lesser-known member of the Lost Generation. I'm currently at work on a speculative novel spanning six different historical periods, as well as a novel-in-stories about a post-menopausal woman.
