Windows into Daily Life During the British Occupation of Boston
This is an article I wrote as the culmination of the research I was doing during my internship at The Paul Revere House Museum in Boston in the spring of 2020. Through close study of the letters and journals of two ordinary women with a talent for describing extraordinary events, my article examines the effects that the British Occupation of Boston had on daily life for families living in the city. It provides the point of view of one Patriot woman, and one Loyalist.
