About

David S. Reed is a public administration expert and founder of Center for Public Administrators. He has been published in peer reviewed journals, is Associate Editor for the journal Public Integrity, and wrote the Dear Bureaucrat advice column in Federal Times. He serves as chairperson and presenter for academic conferences and industry events, and as a university guest lecturer. He has received awards and grants from the American Society for Public Administration, the Northeast Conference on Public Administration, and the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County Maryland. He was formerly a civil servant in the United States government, and holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
