About

Author/Artist/Educator Robert Quackenbush is the author and illustrator of over 200 books for young readers including his Miss Mallard Mysteries, which have been made into animated films in five languages for children's television programing showing in 70 countries world wide. His art is in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum, the Smithsonian, the US Interior Department, the Museum of American Illustration, and in many private collections including the Norton Simon Collection. He has traveled around the world on author tours to schools and libraries instilling the love of books and reading into the children of today. His trips have taken him across the US, including Alaska, South America, the Middle East, and Europe. In addition, he gives workshops at his Manhattan studio for children and adults in art and writing and illustrating books for young readers.
