Jennifer Hester Mattox is the Executive Director of the Carnegie Center, a nonprofit literacy and literary arts center in Lexington, KY that empowers emerging and published authors to express their voices. There she also coordinates/hosts the Kentucky Great Writers Series—which has featured Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winners—and cohosts the annual Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame ceremony.

In addition to more than 20 years of professional writing and marketing experience, she's a member of International Thriller Writers and Author’s Guild; a two-time Kentucky Foundation for Women artist enrichment grantee; and a featured artist on Art of the Rural’s “PlaceStories” website.

She was previously agented and is seeking new literary representation for her thriller novel.
