A 1984 Distinguished Military Graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Political Science, Scott Macmann's subsequent ten-years of active duty with the U.S. Army included tours in South Korea and West Germany, and featured assignments with the infantry, military intelligence and counterintelligence. Drawing heavily on these experiences his fiction often explores speculative, military, alternative-history and contemporary themes with a dash of humor.
