Vicki Ellis
Vicki Ellis, MS studied neurobiology to earn her Biomedical Science/Anatomy Master’s degree from Colorado State University (2001). Over the years, she was a research biochemist, taught biomedical and life science college courses, and served as a board member, treasurer and webmaster of Colorado Association of Psychotherapists. Vicki develops and teaches CB Intrinsic Emotion Management, Conflict Resolution, Stress Recovery (Anxiety and PTSD), and Chronic Pain Control courses and classes. She recently authored the book Chronic Pain Control: Altering Reality (available on Amazon). Students have asked for more, so she is also writing books to cover all of her classes.
Although Vicki has suffered from chronic pain since 1960, she appreciates the fact that incredible pain pushed her until she discovered her science-based CB Intrinsic Touch and very effective mindfulness-based techniques for stopping pain. She continues to stop pain, whenever it arises, with these techniques. By teaching others how to perform these skills correctly, they can control their pain, to the point of stopping it, too.
To help more people, Vicki’s current book, Chronic Pain Control: Altering Reality describes how to perform her techniques. The science-based CB Intrinsic Touch controls pain from the skin to the brain, and ten mindfulness-based techniques, specific for chronic pain, control it from the brain downward. Readers learn how to perform the techniques to trick their nervous system into controlling chronic pain to the point of stopping it, for significant periods of time. Even chronic pain recovery is possible for some conditions. A return of function for muscles and glands often occurs as pain subsides.
CB Intrinsic techniques also provide an important tool for combating the Opioid Crisis. CB Intrinsic Chronic Pain Control Techniques work on the 'prevention' side, by helping prevent the need for opioids and thus, lessen exposure to potential opioid associated risks.
(During surgical procedures, opioids still need to be combined with anesthetics, but CB Intrinsic techniques work alone post-surgery).
Chronic Pain Control: Altering Reality is a must read for sufferers of chronic pain and anyone in the health field looking for alternatives to opioids. It is available on Amazon.

Chronic Pain Control: Altering Reality
Our nervous system creates pain that usually stops as tissues heal. For persistent or chronic pain, we can now learn and develop skills that trick the nervous system into stopping that pain. CB Intrinsic techniques, for reducing or stopping chronic pain, are described in Chronic Pain Control: Altering Reality. The CB Intrinsic Touch and ten mindfulness techniques are described in detail to help anyone learn the skills for controlling their chronic pain to the point of stopping it. The techniques work regardless of the source or type of pain.
Our nervous system simply needs to be coaxed into stopping the unnecessary pain that it sometimes creates. Over a short period of time, through neuroplasticity, the nervous system sometimes learns to stop that pain without being coaxed, and chronic pain patterns can stop. In addition, as pain subsides, the use of muscles or glands may return to normal or near normal, depending on the condition. If pain returns, the techniques are simply reapplied.
These natural pain control techniques can effectively replace opioids, which would help prevent opioid exposure, abuse and addiction. Results from using CB Intrinsic techniques are truly revolutionary for controlling unwanted pain.
