I have drawn upon my business background as a former banker and businessman in the entertainment industry to develop a career as a business and corporate communications writer. In the past two years I have shifted my focus to fiction and creative nonfiction. I am currently working on a novel, which I have been developing through Stanford University's Certificate in Novel Writing program and at the 2018 Sewanee Writers' Conference. I have also been writing short stories and essays. I hold a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
