About

Tara Karr Roberts is a lifelong Idahoan who grew up in Laclede (a community of 300 people along the Pend Oreille River) and now lives in the college town of Moscow with her husband and two sons. She is a freelance writer for colleges and nonprofits and a part-time instructor at the University of Idaho, where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in English. Her creative work has appeared in Hippocampus, Moss, The Belladonna, 5x5, Bayou, and the anthology "Evergreen: Grim Tales and Verses from the Gloomy Northwest." She spends her free time walking her dog, camping and hiking in the Pacific Northwest wilds with her family, and sampling as much ice cream as possible in every city she visits.
