Tara Karr Roberts is a lifelong Idahoan who grew up in Laclede (a community of 300 people along the Pend Oreille River) and now lives in the college town of Moscow with her husband and two sons. She is a freelance writer for colleges and nonprofits and a part-time instructor at the University of Idaho, where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in English.
