He covers general assignment news and Jewish communities for Talk Media, an award-winning chain of local news sites in South Florida. He previously worked as a senior staff writer at The Miami Times in Miami, Fla. He has also worked as a staff writer at the Rio Grande Sun, Newsday, the New York Daily News, The Miami Herald, The Palm Beach Post, The Riverdale Press, and Bronx Justice News. His freelance work has appeared in Newsweek, The Forward, Columbia Journalism Review, UK's The Independent, the Orlando Sentinel, and other publications.
