Nan Willard Cappo
I write fiction. Have published two YA novels, one through Simon & Schuster and one through my own imprint, Tadmar Press. Have re-published the first one independently. After 25 years in Detroit, I've moved back to my home town of Pittsburgh, and am working on an adult novel set in western Pennsylvania.
I'm an avid reader of books on writing and love to discuss writing challenges I encounter. Some favorite fiction writers are Anne Tyler , Hilary Mantel, Barbara Kingsolver, while books I wish I'd written include The Hunger Games and The Help.
My idea of a great book club is one that analyzes good books to see WHY they're so good, how the authors did it, and what techniques can we steal to use in our own writing. (Haven't found that club yet...)
