A member of the American and Texas Psychological Associations, I am a psychologist/author in private counseling and public lecturing practice in Austin, Texas. I write in three areas: parenting books, young reader and adult fiction, and illustrated psychology.

I have published 15 parenting books: (with Wiley, Palgrave Macmillan, Sourcebooks, Adam's Media, Barron's.)
I have published a Young Adult novel (with Magination Press.)
I have published an adult novel (with Cedar Fort.)
I have published a book of illustrated Psychology (with Houghton Mifflin Company.)
And I have self-published seven books of illustrated psychology, a young adult novel, and a children's story.
