Carol Forbes received a B.A. in Visual Arts from Rutgers University. Ms. Forbes attended Columbia University’s, School of the Arts Film Program and was awarded an MFA in Screenwriting.

Her poetry and a short story has been published in several anthologies: Listen to Me: Words and Secrets from WriteGirl, Lines of Velocity: Moves that Move from WriteGirl, Untangled: Words and Poetry from the Women and Girls of WriteGirl.

She has worked as a television production teacher in several New Jersey public schools and as an instructor and writing consultant for The Writers Circle. Ms. Forbes was a guest lecturer for the 2015 Women Who Write Writers conference. She's the creator of TeenGirlsThatWrite, a blog for aspiring teen writers that frequently publishes to Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Bait is her first novel.
