With over 25 years working in most genres of television as a writer and producer, Bronx native Steven Schindler has also written seven novels. Schindler has worked in news, reality, sports, magazine and documentary programming in New York, Washington DC, Chicago, L.A. and currently lives in San Diego. He has 4 Chicago Emmy Awards and credits include, "Israel and the Palestinians; Will Reason Prevail"; "The Who's Farewell Tour"; "America's Most Wanted"; "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and "Vlasta the Polka Queen." His novel, "The Last Sewer Ball", was the Grand Prize winner at the 2017 New York Book Festival, held at the legendary Algonquin Hotel in New York. "From Here to Reality" (Simon and Schuster/Pocket Books) received praise from the New York Post, Jay Leno and Roger L. Simon (The Big Fix).
