Chronic: An Unauthorized Autobiography
CHRONIC is a weekly serialized graphic novel available to read via Substack at https://mulberrytreehouse.substack.com. It's the story of Elle, a thirteen year-old diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 1980, and how she learns to accept her diagnosis with the help of a punk nurse who loves The Clash, as well as a motley group of ghosts who were diabetic patients at the Allen Physiatric Institute in Morristown, New Jersey in 1922.
