About
I juggle several identities, all of which inform my writing. I am a sociologist of American Judaism. My dissertation research on Bar and Bat Mitzvah became the book, Coming of Age in Jewish America. In my professional capacity, I study in American religion, how societies use ritual, and 21st century American Judaism.
As a fiction writer of children's books, I am collaborating on a series of children's books that consider these issues of contemporary American Judaism.
