About
I'm a retired public servant who has moved on from writing memos and other legal mumbo jumbo to more personal prose, both fiction and non-fiction.
The impetus to write more seriously resulted from two things: the encouragement and support of my wife, Camille; and an illness that left me housebound for a few years. My health has since improved (a successful lung transplant in 2015), and the urge to write remains strong.
My short stories have appeared in a number of webzines and print anthologies, and a half-dozen personal essays were published in The Buffalo News. There are also two novels and one novella resting comfortably on a bookshelf in my den, waiting for the right opportunities to present themselves.
