A Lady Newspaprman's Dilemma
Alex arrives in Sunset Valley, Montana, in 1926 as a cocky cub reporter for the local newspaper. A stepping stone towards her goal of becoming an ace reporter for a major metropolitan paper. However, she never envisioned her assignments would only consist of reporting on bake sales, weddings, births, and the high school’s sports’ schedules. Unless she can get some juicy assignments, she’ll never catch the attention of a big city editor.
On her first day, a shootout at the courthouse not only thrusts Alex into the lead reporter position, it also pushes her into the path of the town’s most eligible cattle rancher. Riddled with self-doubts, she doesn’t know if she can handle this major story or the budding love she feels for the cowboy.
Galloping right on the heels of that story is an overnight flood that threatens to drown the town. Alex knows this is the story that could catapult her into the national spotlight. But when it does, she’s faced with a choice. Follow her dream and walk away from the man she loves. Or marry him and leave big city reporting at the altar.
