74 Y/O retired Army pathologist with five published books to my credit. My debut novel, A Knife in the Fog, was an Edgar Finalist for Best First Novel and winner of the 2019 Silver Falchion Award in the Mystery category. In book one I have a relatively young Conan Doyle join the hunt for Jack the Ripper. Book two, Queen's Gambit, involves a fictional assassination attempt on Queen Victoria during her Diamond Jubilee ceremony.
