Born in England to American parents, Naomi Gladish Smith left England at the beginning of WWII and has lived in various parts of the United States and spent a good deal of her later life traveling outside of it. She currently divides her time between Illinois and Florida.
She has published essays and short fiction, four novels and a memoir.
