About
In my 20+ years as an author, I’ve published adult, YA, and middle-grade novels.
Most recently my middle-grade novel Stormstruck!, a Kirkus Best Book, won a “highly recommended” honor from the Boston Authors Club. My other publications include short story collections and fiction and articles in national publications.
Much of my work has been informed by my life on saltwater, on which I’ve worked for a living aboard commercial fishing vessels and sailed for pleasure since early boyhood.
I’ve also led a double life as a creative director and writer in corporations and copywriter in Madison Avenue and Boston advertising agencies, most recently as Senior Director, Brand & Creative with Dell Technologies.
