Elizabeth Foxwell
New Jersey-born Elizabeth Foxwell is the managing editor of _Clues: A Journal of Detection_, the oldest US scholarly journal on mystery/detective/crime fiction, and editor of the McFarland Companions to Mystery Fiction series. She has edited several mystery anthologies, writes frequently on mystery history, and reviews mysteries for _Publishers Weekly_. She also edited _In Their Own Words: American Women in World War I_ (2015) and coauthored _The Robert B. Parker Companion_ (2005). Foxwell lives outside of Washington, DC.
