My writing focuses on fabulist fiction and narrative nonfiction. My most recent book, ELEPHANT SPEAK: A Devoted Keeper's Life Among the Herd, was published in March 2020 (Ooligan Press).
My short fiction has been featured in "Today Tomorrow Always, Volume One," "Wild Musette," anthologies "Three on a Match" and "Tricks and Treats," the collection "Darling Wendy and Other Stories," and in "Allegory, the Tri-Annual Online Magazine of SF, Fantasy & Horror." Nonfiction work has appeared in JEMA (Journal of the Elephant Managers Association), JAGS (Journal of the American Geriatrics Association), and Chicken Soup for the Soul. I cut my professional writing teeth on media tie-in novels for Star Trek, Quantum Leap, and Earth 2.
Currently, I live near Cleveland, Ohio with my husband and our cat Ruby, who is altogether too satisfied with herself.
