Sherrie Flick is the author of the novel Reconsidering Happiness (Bison Books, 2009), a semi-finalist for the VCU First Novelist Award, the flash fiction chapbook I Call This Flirting (Flume, 2004), and the short story collection Whiskey, Etc. (Queen's Ferry Press, 2016). Her fiction has appeared in many anthologies and journals, including Flash Fiction Forward, New Sudden Fiction, Ploughshares, and SmokeLong Quarterly. Her food writing has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Pittsburgh Quarterly, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Fried Walleye and Cherry Pie: Midwestern Writers on Food. She teaches in the Food Studies and MFA programs at Chatham University.
