About

Linda Collison's composite career has included freelance writer, registered nurse, skydiving instructor, author, content editor, writing coach and marketer. In the past she served as director of marketing and script writer for a small audiovisual production company based in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Linda’s articles and award-winning fiction have been published in a variety of magazines and she is the author of several novels. In 1992 Linda married Bob Russell, a fellow adventurer she met skydiving. Bob introduced Linda to sailing and together they’ve journeyed thousands of nautical miles on their own sailboat and as crew members aboard the Bark Endeavour, a replica of Captain James Cook’s famous ship. These experiences inspired numerous published articles and Linda’s historical novel Star-Crossed, a New York Public Library Books for the Teen Age 2007. Looking for Redfeather, and Water Ghosts were Foreword Reviews finalists for Indie Book of the Year - 2014 and 2015.
