Michael K Bialys

Author | Composer | Musician | Attorney | Storyteller

Michael K. Bialys has always been a storyteller at heart. An accomplished author, musician, composer, and attorney, Michael possesses an innate desire to bring his ideas to life and share them with the world. Whether through music or the written word, his creativity is fueled by imagination, passion, and a belief in the power of storytelling to inspire, entertain, and connect us.

An accomplished pianist and composer, Michael's original musical works have been performed on prestigious stages, including the 1988 Winter Olympic Games and performances by the Canadian Opera Company with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Alongside his creative pursuits, he has built a successful legal career in California, bringing dedication, perseverance, and a strong sense of purpose to his professional life.

Yet beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael's greatest inspiration has always been his family.

A devoted husband and proud father of three, Michael draws much of his creative inspiration from his wife, their children, and the life they have built together. Their shared experiences, imagination, and love of storytelling continue to influence the worlds and characters he creates.

What began as a heartfelt story for his eldest daughter, celebrating her special role as protector of her younger siblings, eventually blossomed into The Chronicles of the Virago, a young adult fantasy series exploring courage, loyalty, love, and the extraordinary strength that can be found within ordinary people.

Michael and his wife share a deep creative partnership, collaborating as coauthors on multiple literary works and drawing inspiration from their shared imagination, life experiences, and family. Together, they bring their unique perspectives and creative talents to the stories they tell, including their children’s book “Moishe the Jewish Reindeer.”

At his core, Michael is a creator. When inspiration strikes, he feels compelled to transform an idea into something meaningful and share it with others. Whether composing a melody, developing a character, or imagining an entirely new world, he approaches each endeavor with enthusiasm, determination, and a genuine love for the creative process.

For Michael, creativity is not simply something he does; it is an essential part of who he is.

Above all, he believes that some of life's most extraordinary stories begin with the people we love.
