Daniela Petrova is a Bulgarian-American writer of short stories, essays, and articles and the author of the novel, Her Daughter’s Mother (Putnam, 2019). Her second novel, The Athena, is forthcoming from Grand Central in 2028. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Review of Books, The Washington Post, Marie Claire, Guernica and Portland Review, among others.
