About
I have been writing most of my life – as editor of several newspapers, as editor/publisher of a magazine devoted to a National Hockey League team and as editor of a book devoted to the 40th anniversary of my university’s Journalism program.
I have shared details of my story with a national audience on multiple episodes of CUOMO on NewsNation, which have explored the reasons why finding cures for cancer has been so elusive. I am still receiving treatments semi-monthly (flying from my home in New York to Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong’s clinic in Los Angeles).
Through connections made throughout my life, I have sat on advisory councils at Microsoft, Novell, Cisco Systems and Google. All have contributed goods and/or services to my work supporting pediatric patients in hospitals across North America. Once I complete my frequent cross-country trips for treatment, I intend to tap all of my resources – including connections to Dr. Soon-Shiong - to promote this book and my message of tenacity and hope.

Unintended Consequences - Surviving the ravages of Covid-19 treatments thanks to the 'Jonas Salk of Cancer'
The world is now coming around to the impact the COVID-19 “vaccine” may have had on millions. I have been living with its "Unintended Consequences" since 2022. I gratefully received four jabs between February 2021 and November 2022, but I have been living with the ravages of that decision ever since. I was treated by a renowned oncologist in one of the biggest New York City hospitals until he “fired” me as a patient because I insisted on him ruling out the possible impact of the jab.
In late 2020, there was plenty of data being published about death rates from the COVID virus, but none on the possibility that the associated “vaccine” might have unintended consequences, including bringing long-dormant viruses back to life. After treatments in 2015 for an HPV-related tumor on my tonsil, I had lived a survivor’s life for seven years. During a routine annual check-up in November 2022, (one month after my 4th COVID jab), I was diagnosed with a massive tumor on my liver. It was a turbo cancer. Every one of my doctors determined that if the new tumor was related to my HPV, “they’ll be writing about you in medical journals.” No stranger to near-death experiences, I decided to write my own story.
I knew the statistics on surviving COVID-19. But I didn’t know that 30% of the Pfizer vaccines went out the door with a genetic coding “slip” that researchers claim, never protected patients from the virus, and perhaps more significantly, led to unintended consequences.
The FDA recently published a “Batch List” for the 124 different versions of the Pfizer jab that were administered to patients. Researchers
in London identified the top-5 “Bad” Batches from Pfizer based on side effects reported by recipients. They determined that individuals receiving these five batches were more likely to carry a higher risk of death, disability or serious illness. Of the four jabs I received, three were from that top-5 list of bad batches.
The story of how I found the one person on the planet - Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong -with the resources and willingness to save my life will be of interest to the 4+ billion people who were exposed to the COVID-19 jab in the last few years. Throughout my treatments, I have continued my “day job” as executive director of Companions in Courage Foundation – a charity devoted to connecting pediatric hospital patients to their family, friends and heroes during lengthy hospital stays. How ironic is it that the guy who devoted his adult life to helping sick kids would be compelled to draw inspiration from THEM?
I have been inspired by books “When Breath Becomes Air,” by Paul Kalanithi, “The Miracles Among Us,” by Dr. Marc Siegel and “Healing and the Mind’” by Bill Moyers. Combined, these books have reached millions of readers. My contribution to this list will carry a global reach. After three years of following traditional medicine (chemo, radiation, immunologics) with nothing to show but four recurrences of tumors metastasizing to my liver, Dr. Soon-Shiong’s revolutionary protocol had me cancer-free in four months.
Given the life-and-death stakes involved for so many, and the capriciousness of cancer, time is of the essence.
