About
Born to a British family living in France at the time, I followed classical studies in Paris, including Latin, Greek, and Russian. Earning the French Baccalaureate at 16, I entered a school of mediicine and graduated as a general practitioner. I successfully practiced in several rural areas in France, but I was definitely more interested in stories and history, than in paperworl. After around 10 years, I got the chance to join a team of editors in a medical journal where I learned the craft. Followed a number of years in various capacity, ending as freelance. I finally moved back to England, to be closer to part of my family, but my books were taking too much space to fit in a small apartment in Cambridge. Is that why I moved to Canada? I have also been working for a translator for many years...
Currently writing (1) a thriller, (2) a social romance. Thriller takes place between Quebec province and Atlantic Canada, Synopsis and structure already made with some writing already done. It involves initially a murder (an original idea in a thriller, I confess) and a deceitful line of inquiry. The social romance takes also place in Eastern Canada, but has a background of father's unassumed responsibility towards children. Other projects 'on file'.
