About

Becky Frederick, PhD, is an author, U.S. Air Force veteran, and healthcare professional whose work explores the intersections of ambition, identity, womanhood, and the human experience. Born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, her writing is informed by her Caribbean roots, professional experiences, and an enduring interest in the personal and societal forces that shape women's lives.

She is the author of Gone Again (2019) and is currently writing The Cost, a work of narrative nonfiction examining the visible achievements and often invisible sacrifices that accompany the pursuit of success. Through personal reflection, research, and the stories of other women, Frederick seeks to challenge conventional definitions of success and illuminate the complexities beneath achievement.
