Leadership Is a Responsibility
Leadership Is a Responsibility challenges readers to reconsider what it truly means to lead.
Moving beyond traditional notions of leadership as a position, title, or source of power, Dr. Marisol Capellan explores leadership as a responsibility grounded in self-awareness, ethical judgment, accountability, and the influence we exercise over others.
Drawing on leadership scholarship and professional experience, the book invites readers to examine their assumptions about authority, reflect on the consequences of their decisions, and recognize that leadership is not defined solely by the positions we hold, but by how we use our influence.
Written for current and aspiring leaders, educators, professionals, and individuals committed to personal and organizational growth, Leadership Is a Responsibility offers a thought-provoking perspective on the relationship between leadership, character, and human responsibility.
At its heart is a compelling proposition: Leadership is not simply something we achieve. It is a responsibility we accept.
