Featured Work
The Book of Revelations: A Novel
The Book of Revelations is a contemporary novel tracing eight-year-old Nan Jaffe’s life as she struggles to build an identity following a devastating childhood trauma. Covering two decades and journeying from the American Midwest to 1980s San Francisco, the novel presents her life through the eyes of relatives, teachers, friends, co-workers, and lovers, each understanding Nan only through their own experience of her, but none seeing the complete story. As she struggles to understand herself, the past she has tried to leave behind continues to exert its influence until the final story is revealed.
