Adventures Unlimited
Woodworker Lee Howard is not a rash woman, but an altercation with her partner’s new girlfriend puts her in an Oregon prison where she’s withering away from boredom and angst. She’s given an opportunity to experience a 38-mile trek through the Wallowa Mountains in the Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Program. If she passes, she’ll get early release from prison.
Sasha Rosetti, a normally cautious professor at an outstate Oregon college, has an altercation with a bigoted traffic cop and is given a choice: go to jail or attend an outdoor anger management hiking trip. Sasha seethes over this turn of events, but she realizes she has to make the latter choice, even if it’s terribly unfair.
Lee and Sasha are from different worlds, but they’re stuck together with two group leaders and four other women with “issues.” Just when things seem to be going well, all hell breaks loose on Eagle Creek Trail, and suddenly women who don’t even like one another will have to cooperate to survive. Will these women battle to the death? Or will Sasha and Lee convince them to work together to save their companions?
