About

Growing up, my grandmother told me many tales from the Indian mythology and instilled in me a love for storytelling. However, I ignored my first love for many years, became an engineer, got an MBA and signed up to be a corporate minion for almost two decades. Then life put me through a ringer of grief and reacquainted me with writing as a tool for survival. I acquired a certificate in Creative Writing from UC Berkeley and have been an ongoing student of memoir writing at Writers’ Studio since 2025.
I am currently working on publishing my first memoir.
I am also a storyteller at Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, and I run the Zubin Arora Foundation, created in the memory of my younger child who I lost at eleven years to a rare sarcoma called CIC-DUX4.
