M. E. Harlow is an author of speculative fiction and an Anglican priest. His debut novel, Night Company (Jumpmaster Press, 2027), is a neo-western supernatural thriller that was named a finalist for the Killer Nashville Claymore Award in the Supernatural category. His second novel, Independence '76, received an honorable mention for the 2026 Ark Prize and is in revision.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Harlow holds a master's degree in religion from Reformed Theological Seminary. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2012 and serves as rector of Christ the Redeemer.
He lives in Georgia with his wife, Sarah, an art teacher. They have three children.
