About

Stella Simone Nichols writes dark literary fiction and psychological suspense that explore the complicated territory between devotion and obsession, morality and transgression, perception and truth.

Her completed manuscript, REQUIEM: Tales of Consecration & Profanation, is a collection of verse and prose currently being prepared for submission to literary competitions and representation. Her novel-in-progress examines deception, caregiving, family loyalty, and the unsettling consequences of believing the people we love.

A multidisciplinary artist whose creative life also encompasses visual art, design, music, and performance, Nichols brings a strong sense of rhythm, imagery, and psychological observation to her writing. She is particularly interested in characters whose most consequential choices occupy the uncomfortable space between what is understandable and what is forgivable.

She lives and writes in Baltimore, Maryland.
