About

Leah Browning is the author of Souvenirs from Another Life, a collection of stories published by Quiet Ocean Studio & Press, and When the Sun Comes Out After Three Days of Rain, a collection of poetry published by Kelsay Books. She is also the author of a pair of mini-books of flash fiction, three short nonfiction books from educational publisher Capstone Press, and six chapbooks of poetry and fiction. Browning’s work has appeared in Harpur Palate, Flock, Four Way Review, Valparaiso Fiction Review, The Threepenny Review, Contrary Magazine, Necessary Fiction, Waxwing, Vestal Review, Fractured Lit, Terrain.org, Passages North, Clockhouse, Bear Review, The Forge Literary Magazine, Thin Air Magazine, Superstition Review, Santa Ana River Review, Blood Orange Review, The Broadkill Review, Newfound, Poetry South, and other literary journals and anthologies. Her second full-length story collection, Before and After a Slice of Cake, is forthcoming from Quiet Ocean Studio & Press. In addition to writing, Leah Browning serves as editor of the Apple Valley Review, an online literary journal.
