Gina Cafasso is a novelist and screenwriter in San Diego. Her debut novel, SOMETHING TRUE, was published in July 2026 and is available in paperback, hardcover, and ebook through major US and European retailers. She adapted it from her own original screenplay, which she is currently shopping for representation. She is at work on the sequel and a prequel, and is developing a book drawn from her parents' 1953 arranged marriage in Italy.
She directed an award-winning short film and has credits as a crew member, director, and writer on IMDb. She hosts the podcast Circumstance. Before fiction, she spent 15 years in marketing across the life sciences, consumer, and hospitality sectors.
