JoHannah Thompson, BSN, RN, is a women's and children's nurse with nearly a decade of clinical experience in postpartum, NICU, pediatrics, and pediatric emergency care, plus pre-nursing experience assisting a community midwife. A Boise State University nursing alumna, she also holds a certificate in medical cannabis from a nine-month professional training program for healthcare providers.

She writes and creates as Nurse Jo - The Medicine Cabinet RN, translating clinical knowledge into plain-language education on pregnancy, birth, and early parenting for an audience across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Her work is grounded in a simple conviction: that confident decisions come from understanding rather than instruction, and that parents deserve explanations, not directives.

She is currently writing her first book, a guide to pregnancy for readers who want to understand what is happening in their bodies. She is a mother of two and homeschools her children.
