A little about Sheree’s book DANCING WITH MY MOTHER - A Mother’s Memoir of Love, Loss and Light …
A mother fights to save her gifted son from addiction and the hallucinatory disorder that stole his future – a haunting dance of hope, hindsight and the realization that sometimes love is not enough. DANCING WITH MY MOTHER is a profoundly personal memoir of a mother’s battle to save her son, no matter the cost to herself.
A tale told from the heart, DANCING WITH MY MOTHER chronicles grief, fortitude, and eventual acceptance, showcasing the eternal bond between a mother and her son.
Sheree’s first book, TAKING THE DROP, written with three friends, was self-published via Vivid Publishing in 2011, and is the story of four women who took up surfing in their forties. The forward was written by Layne Beachley, seven-time World Surf Champion.
In her spare time, Sheree loves to spend time with family and friends, long walks in nature with the family golden retriever, and catching waves on her surfboard with like-minded surf buddies.
