Matt Lane is a founding member of independent speculative fiction publisher Hope Springs Creative, a fiction writer, and a lawyer with fifteen years of contract law experience. Separate from his role at Hope Springs, Matt works with authors to help understand their contracts and protect their rights. He has also worked at FEMA and the D.C. Office of the Attorney General, where he drafted, negotiated, and litigated contracts ranging in value from a few thousand dollars to over a billion dollars.
